FRAKADELA BRINGS CHANGE TO THE YOUTH OF SOSHANGUVE

The rate of unemployment in South Africa is high. Young people, especially the youth, graduates from college and universities but find themselves jobless. Mr. John Molekwa is running a food business at Block H, his business has created job opportunities for the youth of Soshanguve.

The Frakadela food business has been running for years now and Mr. John wishes to continue bringing change to the community. He is managing two different food businesses and hired three youth members to hold the other place.

Mr. John  has been working with youth members of Soshanguve,his wish is to continue working with young people and keep them out of the street and depression. It provides character and individuality to a community, business like these are the backbone of the community.

Sipho Mokwena is an employee and he said,"It was not my wish to find myself working here at Frakadela but I am so grateful to Mr. John who gave me this opportunity."


The formation of this business has brought change and hope to the youth of Soshanguve.

Mr. John said that his reason for opening this business was to feed his family because he was not working at the time. He used his last cents to start something like this and his business grew to the point where he even hired people to work with him and started another business to hire more unemployed youth members of Soshanguve.


Every business has its own challenges and Mr john challenge was about setting up his prices and finding a suitable place for the business and competition around market.

One of Mr.John’s desire is for his business to grow so that he can employ more young people. Unemployment rate is high and he hopes that his business will help more young people.
